- Professor Claire-Anne Siegrist, Paediatric Immunologist, Head of
the vaccinology centre and research laboratory at Geneva University
Hospital
- Dr Andrew Riordan, Consultant in Paediatric infectious Diseases
and Immunology at Alder Hey Children's Hospital
- Dr Gabrielle Laing ,Community Paedatrician and clincal director
in City and Hackney PCT

The JCVI is looking to appoint five members to the Committee. The vacancies
are for a Primary Care Trust Director of Public Health, or an equivalent
position; a Community Paediatrician; a Paediatric Infectious Disease
Physician; a Paediatric Immunologist; and a Virologist.

- Dr Ray Borrow as the Microbiologist member has been appointed from
1 April 2007.
- Ms Anne McGowan and Mrs Pauline MacDonald have been appointed as

The JCVI is pleased to announce the following appointments.:
- Dr Paul Jackson as the Northern Ireland member representative has
been appointed from 1 December 2005.
- Professor Jonathan Friedland as the infectious diseases member has
been appointed from 1 December 2005.
- Dr Ahmed Syed has been appointed as the Scottish member of the JCVI
from 1 January 2006.
- From 1 January 2006 Professor Andrew Hall has been appointed as
the chair of JCVI.
