Transmissible spongiform encephalopathy agents: safe
working and the prevention of infection
This revised guidance was published in June 2003 onwards in sections, as they were prepared and endorsed by ACDP, SEAC and the Joint Working Group. Publishing in this way facilitates easier updating of individual sections by the ACDP TSE Working Group as further scientific information becomes available or future policy decisions need to be reflected. The date of publication
for updated or revised sections is clearly indicated. This guidance replaces the
edition issued in March 1998.
