Ms Denise Marjorie Howel Ms Howel was appointed as a member in April 2000. She is a Senior Lecturer in epidemiological statistics and has a wide range of research interests in a number of public health topics including the epidemiology of respiratory diseases and primary biliary cirrhosis, the health effects of air pollution, and the evaluation of public health interventions.
