Dr Gatehouse was appointed as a member in April 2003. He has extensive
experience over 25 years on the development of and application of test
methods and strategies for investigating the mutagenicity of chemicals
and assessment of data. He has been particularly involved in the development
of bacterial assays for gene mutations. He is on the Editorial Board of
its journal, Mutagenesis.
