Terms of reference

To oversee the implementation of the recommendations in the Report of the Expert Group on the Regulation of Cosmetic Surgery by:

drawing up an agreed implementation timetable for each recommendation;
monitoring action towards implementing each recommendation;
reporting to the Chief Medical Officer twice annually on progress towards implementation.
providing advice on and evidence to the Chief Medical Officer of any further action which may need to be taken in the future to secure improved patient safety.
