Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation

ADVERTISEMENT FOR A PERSON TO REPRESENT WELSH INTERESTS ON THE JOINT COMMITTEE ON VACCINATION AND IMMUNISATION

The Secretary of State for Health wishes to appoint a member to the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) to represent Welsh interests.

JCVI is a Statutory Committee and its remit is to advise the Secretary of State for Health, the Scottish Ministers, the Northern Ireland Ministers responsible for health and the National Assembly for Wales on matters relating to communicable diseases, preventable and potentially preventable through immunisation. Membership is for a period of four years initially. This can be extended for a further period of four years but this is not guaranteed.
