With effect from 1st September 2006, the functions carried out by the Unrelated Live Transplant Regulatory Authority (ULTRA), will transfer to the Human Tissue Authority (HTA). This change follows the full implementation of the Human Tissue Act 2004 and the Human Tissue (Scotland) Act 2006.
